The Holmen Park & Recreation Department strives to offer a wide variety of group fitness classes for adults of all ages. Course schedules, class types, and sessions will change throughout the year. See our class lists below for classes currently in progress, as well as a list of upcoming classes to register for. It is our goal to meet the fitness needs and accommodate schedules of as many residents as possible with classes at an affordable price!
Dance Fitness
Are you ready to party yourself into shape? When participants see a class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. These classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Dance Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

Bosu and Balance
This is a class that uses a Bosu balance half disc or ball to focus on balance, core and small muscle groups. This will help you gain more balance and strengthen your core.

Golden Fit
This class is good for seniors, beginners or those who haven’t worked out in a long time. Modifications will be given for all clients to ensure they get the best workout for their own bodies. We do a mixture of cardio, strength, balance and core work.

Pilates
This class we rotate with a variety of Pilates formats such as Pilates on the ball, Mat Pilates, Pilates Barre, or Pilates Fusion. We will work to tighten muscle groups and build your core, arms, legs and glutes. This is for all levels and ages of fitness.

This is a relaxing and restorative flow with a focus on stretching. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome to attend. Bring tennis shoes and water.

This is a HIIT-style workout, meaning we do various cardio and strength activities for a timing format such as 20 seconds on and 10 seconds to recover. This class is for all ages and levels of fitness. Modifications will be given for each move. Bring tennis shoes and water.
