To be eligible to vote in the State of Wisconsin, a person must:

  1. Be a citizen of the United States of America.
  2. Be 18 years of age on or before election day.
  3. Have been a resident of the municipality where he/she intends to vote for a minimum of 28 days prior to election day.
  4. Bring Photo ID (required). Use this link, Bring it to the Ballot, to give you information on regulations of Photo ID and how to obtain a Photo ID.

When to Vote

All voters who have properly registered to vote or are already registered in the Village of Holmen can arrive at the polling place as early as 7:00 AM when the polls officially open.  The polls will remain open throughout the day closing at 8:00 PM.  The polling place is accessible to elderly and disabled voters.

The Village of Holmen is divided into 13 wards for the purpose of voting in elections. The Ward Map may help you in your search for which ward you live in (adopted 2024).

2025 Elections

Spring Primary: February 18, 2025 (if necessary) – Nonpartisan Primary held the third Tuesday in February to nominate candidates to be voted for at the Spring Election.

Spring Election: April 1, 2025 – Election held the first Tuesday in April for Court of Appeals Judge, Circuit Court Judge, County Nonpartisan Offices, Municipal Offices, School District Offices, and referenda (if necessary), and in Presidential years, to express preference for the person to be the presidential candidate for each party.
