Frequently Asked Questions
Q: “Why did my child only get a fourth-place ribbon when I saw her finish in first place in her race?”
A: There are often multiple heats for each distance and each age group. Finishing first in a race does not mean that time will be fastest among all the other heats run for that age group.
Q: I had to leave the meet early, can I still pick up my child’s ribbon?
A: Unclaimed ribbons from this meet will be given to your team’s coach at meet #2 in Onalaska on July 11. (However, there will be no way to distribute unclaimed ribbons after the second track meet, so make every effort to obtain any ribbons at the event.)
